Bondage ottoman? Never finished, still WIP

I’ve got some upholstery foam left over from a “dog couch” project. Cut it in half and am looking in covering it in vinyl and so I’ll have an ottoman I guess? Perfectly sized for an impact play position. Thinking of adding some bondage points also 🤔
A couple nylon straps around it and some d rings would probably work well

Honestly I’ll probably be sewing it and cutting it, leaving no triangles whatsoever. What I’m trying to figure out right now is how I want to do the bondage points. I’m trying to figure out how I want to hide the straps away inside it, and keep them accessible, and how to sew the vinyl to make that work… etc.

Uh. I still want to do this project but have not done anything else. I’m wondering about more of a wood core now so I can use it as storage, too. But that makes the project more work. But I’m not liking how much space it must take up just as foam like that.
